Free Lunch and Healthcare
'Still brutally constrained by time and out of the blogging loop indefinitely.
I'd love to write endlessly on the big events of our time, notably the current actions in North Korea, Iran, and our own branches of government as they slouch toward enhanced authority.
After bouncing back and forth as to just how radical or moderate Obama would ultimately manifest I'll just sum up my appraisal in a sound bite (write bite?)... He sucks. What the hell could the American population possibly be thinking?
I'd love to list the many reasons why this guy's act is wearing thin on me but I have no time and others are effectively doing so in better ways than I could. If only a good portion of the population would catch on as to just how seriously this pseudo-Marxist clown is altering the founders' experiment in individual liberty, not to mention his deliberate attempts to considerably weaken the U.S. at a time when authoritarians are emboldened. The vultures are circling and Obama thinks they now like us because he's made some speeches (whoopde-doo). The “good speaker” argument is looking less and less appealing at a time when seasoned and sober leadership is needed on all fronts.
On that note, I'd like to simply leave you with the much quoted words of P.J. O'Rourke:
"If you think that health care is expensive now, just wait until it is free."
